Aaaaah. Seems everyone has adjusted to the 10 hour time change and it only took 5 days! Today we went to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town to take the girls to the Two Oceans Aquarium. On the way there, we drove past Rhodes Memorial, Table Mountain, and Lion’s Head; all landmarks from my childhood. What an experience to be able to point them out to Logan.
Today’s excursion MUCH better than yesterdays! The aquarium was awesome and the girls loved it, running from tank to tank. My Mom joined us, as we are car-less, long story there. It was great to have her to so she could share in the girls’ joy. Logan’s two favorite exhibits were the “enormous eel” and the tank full of Nemo’s – the Nemo’s were my fave too. The girls do everything at lightning speed, so we made it through the aquarium quickly and efficiently which allowed us to enjoy lunch at Ferryman’s, aah, fish, chips, and beer!
Afterwards we poked around the shops looking at some African crafts and just enjoying the hustle and bustle of Christmas shoppers. We are having beautiful weather so far, and today is no exception, so it doesn’t even feel like Christmas! We will set up Mom’s tree today and swim in her pool – funny those two things don’t seem to go in the same sentence!

Logan and Madelyn are such wonderful little children -- amazing that they have made that long journey and bounced right back. How are you? Has Neil arrived yet?
